This Pepetools Pen Plating system is designed for efficient coatings of rhodium, gold, etc. Impulse power makes it easy to plate difficult solutions such as black or blue rhodium. It is especially suitable for complicated shapes, detailed areas and surfaces where complex selective plating or multiple plating colours are required. The pen plating unit will create plating layer thicknesses of up to 0.1 microns. Automatic dual voltage (115V / 220V. Furnished with wire holder for pen leads, 3 double-ended felt tips, three plating jars, alligator clip and one quick disconnect plating pen. CAUTION: Never use acid-based and cyanide-based solutions on the same apparatus). When handling the felt tips, use rubber gloves to avoid contamination of the tips. The first time you use a new felt tip, soak it in the plating solution for at least 5 minutes
