This alloy is copper-based casting grain (63% Cu, 32% Zn, 2% Pb). it fits into the brass category. Casting metal, because it comes ready to melt and pour into your mold, is fast and efficient to use. Melting range 1625-1650° F, pouring range 1700-1900° F.
